“ | Oh no, another nine circles level. A dark red one infact. Credits for the name goes to Lumpy. Demon? | ” |

Crimson Clutter is a 1.9 solo Insane Demon created, verified and published by RedUniverse. It is a difficult remake of Nine Circles and was generally considered to be one of the hardest Nine Circles levels in the game. The level features a blood-red crimson-like theme, hence its name, and is infamous for being harder than both the notorious Antique Circles and Catastrophic.
Gameplay[]
- 0-11%: The level starts with a simple double-speed cube section featuring a little fake lining, along with troll orbs and pads.
- 11-16%: Next, the player enters a somewhat difficult ship segment with orbs and gravity portals, requiring good timing to avoid accidentally hitting a spike or the ground.
- 16-24%: The player enters a half-speed cube section with a few simple jumps.
- 24-76%: Afterwards, the beat drops, and the player jumps into a triple-speed wave segment typical to that of Nine Circles levels. The wave segment is difficult and features numerous gravity portals, very tight spaces, dark shades of colours and, as mentioned, mirror portals that may disorient players who do not adapt well to the sudden direction flipping.
- 76-100%: The level ends with a ship segment that involves hitting orbs and going through gravity changes. In the end, the ship changes to half-speed, and the level ends with RedUniverse's name, accompanied by the text 'GG'.

- The level was initially placed at #43 on the Demonlist on January 1, 2017, above Light Years (#44) and below Ultraviolet (#42).

- Unlike other Nine Circles levels, this one has the flashing wave going outwards instead of inwards. Thus, the colour trigger goes as follows: 4, 3, 2, 1.

- The level's name was suggested by a player named Lumpy (as proven in RedUniverse's video of it and the level's description).
- KrmaL made a joke about this level, copying it, changing colours to purple and calling it Corrupt Clutter.[1] This is a reference to the game Terraria, where there are two opposite biomes: Crimson and Corruption. He also created another parody level called Crimson Clutterfunk, which is the same as the original level but instead uses Clutterfunk by Waterflame as the song.[2]
- Sunix has verified a remake called Custom Clutter, where the main colours of the level are the player's icon colours instead of crimson.
- JakeSJ, while verifying his levels MultiClutter (two times Crimson Clutter) and TripleClutter (three times Crimson Clutter), has racked up over 150 completions of the singular Crimson Clutter, according to calculations based on attempts.

- Riot repeatedly crashed at a troll in the first cube section.
- Crimson Clutter is often shortened to CC, confusing some people.
