Easy Coin Update

―Zobros

Acropolis is a 1.9/2.0 solo Insane Demon created, verified, and published by Zobros. It is notorious for its numerous tight spaces, slow speed, "thorn balls", many small spikes, and timings. A remake, AcropoliX, was created by SoulsTRK and released in 2.0.

Gameplay[]

  • 0-15%: The level starts with a half-speed cube section consisting of difficult jumps and drops that need crucial timing. This section gets more difficult as it progresses.
  • 16-24%: Next, the player enters a moderately difficult ball segment that needs timing because of spikes and spike balls everywhere. This segment usually takes time to learn due to numerous traps and timings.
  • 25-33%: Afterward, the player transitions into a ship sequence with tight spaces. This sequence is not difficult compared to the more timing-intensive cubes.
  • 34-42%: Afterward, the player enters a difficult cube section containing numerous traps, invisible spikes, and "thorn balls" everywhere that mostly cover the various orbs. This section is too difficult to sight-read and requires some muscle memory. It is considered one of the most difficult parts of the level.
  • 43-51%: The player enters a moderately difficult mini-ship sequence with moderately tight spaces, which requires a bit of skill. Despite this, it is mostly considered one of the easier parts of the level.
  • 52-59%: After the ship, the player transitions into a tight UFO segment with quite a specific input pattern, notorious for being extremely inconsistent.
  • 60-68%: Next, the player enters a ball segment similar to the first, with tricky timings throughout.
  • 69-78%: Afterward, they enter a cube section with a few simple jumps over clusters of tiny grey spikes. They are the same jumps repeatedly throughout the 9% segment but requires good consistency.
  • 79-100%: Finally, the player enters a wave segment with many open spaces, thorn balls, and spikes. This wave section is considered one of the easier parts of the level, but can be difficult to gain consistency with. Near the end, Zobros' name is shown below a final spam corridor, which has killed its fair share of unlucky players.

User coins[]

This level has three user coins. The second and third are the hardest to obtain.

  1. The first coin is located in the first ball segment at 20%. It is fairly easy to get as the player only needs to hit the pink orb with good timing since the coin is under it. However, it is easy to hit too late (thus crashing into the wall) and hit too early (thus crashing into the spike ball overhead).
  2. The second coin is located at the second ship sequence, at 46%. Located near a gravity portal, the player must time their flying very well to avoid crashing into the spikes lining their passage while being in a position that lets them grab the second coin. The coin is placed quite far to the left, so they must input and hold earlier than usual to collect it.
  3. The third coin is located at the last wave segment, at the top of the spike balls at 95%. The player must carefully get the coin as there are blocks above it that can result in them crashing.
