Horntail Cave is a 1.9 Insane Demon created by KeiAs. It is known for its difficult two-player dual sections and is one of the first levels with such gameplay.
Gameplay[]
The level starts with an auto-cube section, after which there is a very difficult ship sequence that contains narrow spaces. The scenery changes color slightly, and there is a much easier wave section, and then a simple mini UFO section (the player needs to be careful not to crash into a particularly poorly visible uneven floor).
Then there is a cube section with a few simple jumps. Here, the player should jump in front of the next portal so as not to get stuck on the spike in it. Next, the scenery becomes brighter and the hellishly obscured ball, wave, and UFO section begins. Then, the player leaves the “cave” and flies through invisible columns guided by arrows in a fast ship section. Then there is a wave section requiring the player to constantly go between sawblades.
It is followed by a simple cube section and a long auto section, and the player returns to the "cave". Then, the dual parts begin - at first, there is a mixture of a cube with a ship (in the cube there are invisible blocks and orbs - hazards), then a cube and ball section (the cube is auto, and in the ball - one click is required), a cube with a UFO (the player must only click in the UFO), a mini-wave with a UFO (here, the UFO is auto and the wave requires one click) and a cube with a mini UFO, in which the player must gently click with both icons. Next is a fairly simple ship sequence requiring flying between sawblades, followed by a cube requiring yellow and pink orbs to be clicked without timing. The level then ends, as the boss falls apart.

- The level contains 20,000 objects.
- There is a sequel to this level called Horntail Cave II.
- This is the first Lightning Team Level.
- KrmaL, UFokinWotM8, and Lemons were the first three people to beat it by themself.
- UFokinWotM8 was also the first person to do so on a mobile device.
