saRy is third long map. Design by Neptune

―saRy

Red World is a 1.8/2.1 Extreme Demon collaboration created by saRy and Neptune and hack-verified and published by saRy. The level became impossible after the 1.9 update due to a block at 2% which was changed into a decoration. SrGuillester uploaded a slightly nerfed/fixed version of Red World on his profile page. The level has been made into a rebirth version decorated by Hinds, Findexi, Viprin, which was verified and published by Riot. This level also utilizes the swing copter mode. Red World was impossible until June 3, 2021, when RobTop and Pauze, in a spree of fixing old levels that became impossible from later updates, made the 2% block solid again. The level was rated the following day.[1]

Gameplay[]

The level starts out as a mildly simple ball timing part (which was impossible in 1.9 or above until it got fixed) with some tricky timings. It then goes into a ship part which is not too difficult if the player knows where to go. Then the player must jump a over few triple spikes and enter a UFO part which is quite difficult and tight. They then head into a ship segment which is not that difficult. After that, the player enters a swing copter mode, with arrow spikes. Then the copter difficulty will increase tremendously. After the copter, the player will enter a ship section which is very tricky and requires some luck and memorization. Swing copter mode will activate again, and it is very difficult. After that, the player will enter the hardest part of the level, the end. It is a ship with difficult straight flying and a few tricky timings.

Trivia[]

  • The level cannot be copied.
  • The level contains 11,090 objects.
  • The level is 1m 20s in length.
  • It used to be the second hardest level in 1.8 until it became impossible (behind Silent clubstep).
  • This level is technically the oldest Extreme Demon.
    • This is, if we consider only the ID of the level, the oldest level that is rated Extreme Demon due to the rated version of Silent Club, (which is technically older), being a reupload by Luqualizer. Due to this, Red World still remains the oldest Extreme Demon by ID.
  • The level was nerfed from its original state.
    • Lation is currently verifying the unnerfed version in which he calls it “Red World Classic”.

―Riot

Red World Rebirth is a 1.8/2.0 Extreme Demon collaboration created by Hinds, Findexi, and Viprin and verified and published by Riot, reborn from Red World by saRy and Neptune. Originally, the gameplay was made by saRy, the original design was made by Neptune, and the new design was made by Hinds, Findexi, and Viprin. It is known mainly for its tight spaces and crucial timings.

Gameplay[]

The level starts off with a difficult ball part with many very hard timings. Then, there is a long ship segment with some rather tight spaces. This is followed by a short cube segment with three triple spike jumps, and then a very hard mini UFO sequence with numerous rather difficult spaces and excessive mashing. Then, there is a ship segment that starts off with a moderately tight space with many gravity portals, and then a rather tight mini ship with many hard-to-see sawblades. Afterward, there is a very long, hard, and tight swing-copter sequence that is mainly based on navigating tight spaces and avoiding clusters of sawblades. Then, there is a very long ship part that starts with a rather tight short ship sequence, and then an extremely tight and long space full of one space flying, and then another ship part similar to the start of the lengthy ship sequence, but a lot longer, and with more memorization required. Afterward, there is a rather long swing-copter section, along with many tight spaces. This is followed by a very tight ship sequence. Then, the level displays "Gameplay by SaRy and Neptune," "Design by Hinds Findexi Viprin", and finally "Verified by Riot." Then, the level ends.
